Clara plays the clarinet in the Gulbenkian Youth Orchestra. Two weeks a year, she and 80 other young musicians get together to rehearse a difficult concert programme – which then tours Portugal. This year, Clara has an added responsibility, with a solo that all clarinetists dream of. The pressure is enormous, the chances of failure are endless, all paths point to giving up. This is not the story of a concert. It is the story of a choice.
