Meio No Meio aims to promote training, the creation of learning opportunities and active citizenship for young people and adults who find themselves in different situations of social vulnerability, residing in four municipalities associated with ARTEMREDE (Almada, Barreiro, Lisbon and Moita).
In the first phase of the project (2019-2020), two intergenerational groups participate in training sessions led by Victor Hugo Pontes (Dance) and four local artists (Theater, Cinema, Visual Arts and Music). The second phase consists of the creation and presentation, in 2021, of a multidisciplinary show that will reflect the creative process, including testimonies from the participants. Meio No Meio thus aims to build spaces for socialization and sharing between different generations and geographies, promoting the intersection of worlds.
